ii Digital video
surveillance system provides vital protection on
today's public transport for drivers and passengers. But it goes
further than that. The cameras have proven to deter vandals and
so pay for themselves very quickly. The recordings also provide
important evidence for bus operators in case of complaints,
crimes or accidents.
ii video system consists of 2-8 motion activated
cameras each
in a protective housing. This makes our cameras visible which
is a deterrent in itself, and also ensures compliance with data
protection laws.
Video footage is analysable on a PC. Camera recording speeds
are up to 25 pictures per second. With several cameras on the
system the recording speed is set to 2-4 pictures per second for
each camera. A monitor can be connected as part of the system
to give the driver live images and so create a further deterrent.
The recorded images can be removed at the end of the day and
kept for investigation if an incident or damage has occurred.
Alternatively, the tape can simply be written over with new data. |
