ii DIVA system of external and onboard audio announcement opens up opportunities
to offer improved service for all passengers but especially for those
with sight difficulties for whom travelling can be stressful.
In addition to the announcement unit the system has an integrated amplifier
with 3 outputs for interior; exterior and control speakers.
The DIVA system can also play music to entertain. The system
can be used to advertise new services or to play music as a
relaxing background sound when not in use.
The DIVA system can be set to automatic or operated
manually
should the driver need to. Volume level automatically self-adjusts
in line with ambient noise but has a manual override facility
if
required. Connections for a microphone are included in the DIVA
system. The DIVA system was specifically developed for use on
public transport and so has been designed with these features
to overcome the unpredictability inherent in providing public
transport.
The DIVA system operates on the IBIS Intelligent Onboard
Computer. This same system operates all ii electronic signage.
This means you have a fully integrated communications system.
The audio announcements are recorded by a professional
announcer. Recordings are easily downloaded by smartcard or
laptop to the bus.
Programming is done using InfoTED and Voicesoft software for easy
convenient management of the system. |
